Mr. Kerr’s Report
4 Staff members out on Maternity leave. Hope to have 1 back next week
State Reports – Demographic info on kids and better way of tracking kids' progress.

Parent-Teacher Conferences were down this year – 91% perhaps the 2-week gap was the reason.

Staff in-service was held with Rock Valley and Sioux Center schools – this helped “all” the staff get ideas from other teaching staff. Looking at doing this again in the future. Core Curriculum for statewide grade levels so all schools on the same level.

PBS – Mr. Kerr has been reading the book “Fill the Bucket” to all students still has one class left. October subject was Courtesy and November is Ownership. Mr. Kerr will be looking at a new book for Ownership.

Mr. Kerr and Miss Fitzgerald will be attending Iowa Core Curriculum meeting Friday October 24.

Our next meeting is November 17 at 7 PM.
