Scholastic Book Fair
The book fair will be held during conferences.
- September 18 – 4:00 – 7:00
- September 27 – 4:00 – 8:00
2-3 parents are needed on both nights. Please sign up for the amount of time and day you would like to work via Peggy O. at 439-2821.
Parent-Teacher Conference Meals
Cheri B. and Nancy R. will be coordinating bringing in a meal to the teachers during conferences. Taverns will be brought to the elementary on the 18th and to the high school on the 27th. If you would like to sign up to bring a pan of bars or a salad, please contact Cheri (439-2620) or Nancy (725-2351).
Volunteer Opportunities in the School
There are many volunteer duties a parent, grandparent, or community member can do. Some options: listen to children read, general classroom help, help with make-up work, cutting, pasting, and creating, field trips, bilingual education, clerical activities to name a few. If you are interested in getting involved, you can print off a volunteer application from the Boyden-Hull website (parent resources - under PTO) or sheets will be available at the September parent-teacher conferences by the teachers. If you filled out a sheet last year, you do not need to do so again. Sindy B. at 439-2218 will coordinate this effort. Teachers are encouraged to share their needs.
